A man has been arrested in Ħ’Attard following days of police investigations and surveillance linked to the illegal cultivation of cannabis.
During a raid carried out at a residence in the area, officers discovered equipment used for the unlawful growing of cannabis, along with around 34 cannabis plants of various sizes. Police also found approximately two kilograms of cannabis ready to be packaged.
The suspect was expected to be arraigned in court earlier today, as investigations into the case continue.
