A Maltese military officer has been spotted bearing the EU flag alongside the EU’s military commander Frederik Simon Spruijt during India’s 77th Republic Day Parade in New Delhi. The EU leadership is in New Delhi to work on a free trade agreement with India which will effectively create the biggest free trade market in the world with a market that will reach up to 2 billion people.
It is amazing that Malta is in such a position to represent the EU and I can’t be prouder of my country today. All glory to the Armed Forces of Malta.
