A man was arrested following a police operation carried out early on Wednesday morning at a residence in Pietà, as authorities moved to execute a European Arrest Warrant issued by German authorities.
During the operation, the suspect was taken into custody. A subsequent search of the residence led to the discovery of 19 cannabis plants, along with approximately 850 grams of cannabis.
The man was arraigned in court on Thursday, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. He was subsequently remanded in custody pending further proceedings.
Investigations by the police are ongoing.
