Malta Under-21 Head Coach Davide Mazzotta has announced his final 24-man squad ahead of the upcoming fixtures in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualifiers.
The Malta U21 side will face two challenging away matches in the coming days, starting with a clash against Greece, followed by an encounter with Georgia as they continue their qualifying campaign.
Malta will first take on group leaders Greece in their sixth Group F match on Friday, 27 March 2026. The game will kick off at 17:00 (CET) at the Municipal Stadium of Livadia and will be broadcast live on TVMSport+.
The team will then travel to Kutaisi for their second fixture against Georgia, scheduled for Tuesday, 31 March 2026. Kick-off is set for 16:00 (CET) at the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium, with live coverage available on TVMSport.mt.
These matches provide an important opportunity for Mazzottaโs side to continue their development and test themselves against strong opposition.
Having initially named a 31-player provisional squad, Mazzotta has now reduced the group to 24. Among the notable inclusions are James Sissons and Shaisen Attard, both of whom had originally been called up to the provisional Malta senior national team squad.
