It’s genuinely remarkable how things come to pass with all their dark and absurd ironies. The Said brothers, who paid a compensation sum to a thirteen-year old girl they had raped, actually built the new blocks of the Nadur Primary school in 2023. You can see their own video here. They participated in the project along with another contractor and the project is estimated to have amounted up to €6.3 million.
The Said brothers, Josef Said and Peter Paul Said, were never served with full justice for the alleged horrible rape of a thirteen year old girl in 2008. The girl was also raped by at least two other men. The Said brothers went on to live a normal life after covering up their gruesome act and went on to keep expanding their business, even to the ironic and absurd extent of building schools.
Also interesting is the fact that the Said brothers are also brothers to previous PN Gozo Minister Chris Said. They are all from Nadur (Gozo) and coincidentally they managed to get the contract for the Nadur Primary school.
