The Saint Paul’s Bay Mayor, Ċensu Galea, has highlighted several critical infrastructure issues in his locality.
One issue involves the walls of St Martin’s Street, which are collapsing (featured image), while another issue concerns Simar Street, which is collapsing as a consequence of ongoing road works (video below).
Saint Paul’s Bay is a highly touristic area and its infrastructure is under constant pressure. A proposal by ADPD leader Sandra Gauci at the Saint Paul’s Bay Local Council for the government to use the eco-tax to help fund infrastructure in localities was later adopted by the Labour Party and included in its electoral manifesto.
