The Labour Party’s regular abuse of school-children for party propaganda (via public funds)

Along the years in government, Prime Minister Robert Abela has normalised the abuse and use of school-children for the purpose of party propaganda. The Prime Minister and other government Ministers are taking the liberty of visiting schools to promote government initiatives and whenever they do, they film themselves interacting with school-children. The videos are produced with public funds and often by contracted parties.

The abuse of children for propaganda purposes is going as far to even being explicitly invited to join government events. School-children joined the official government signing ceremony with MIDI and they were filmed as part of a propaganda video.

Here below is one of the most recent publicly-funded propaganda video featuring a government Minister with school-children. Here, Junior Minister Alicia Bugeja Said visits a school to promote the government’s initiative “Fish Friday’s” in which school-children are provided with free local fish produce. Even the initiative itself seems like to have been designed exclusive for propaganda purposes. Alica Bugeja Said has been making extensive use of public funds to promote herself.
