Liam Sciberras wins the 2026 MSSF Skeet Grand Prix

Liam Sciberras put on a dominant display at the Malta National Shooting Ranges to claim first place at the MSSF Skeet Grand Prix 2026. Serving as the highly competitive 5th Selection Shoot of the sport shooting season, the two-day event concluded on Sunday, May 17, 2026, shaking up the national leaderboards.
Sciberras led the charge early on, earning the title of Best Shooter of Day 1 with an impressive qualification score of 69/75. He maintained his composure all the way through the tournament, entering the finals with the top qualification score of 116/125. In the high-stakes final stages, Sciberras locked down his victory by crushing 55 out of 60 clay targets.

Cassar and Galea Secure Podiums

Andre Cassar took home a well-deserved second-place overall finish. While he trailed Sciberras slightly on the opening day, Cassar bounced back aggressively to become the Best Shooter of Day 2, hitting a near-perfect 48 out of 50 clays. He concluded his final round with a total score of 48/60.
Rounding out the top three was Mikaela Galea, who put up a spectacular fight to finish third overall with 40/50 in the final stages. Galea’s performance also cemented her status as the top competitor in her category.
