No war against Iran as President Trump says deal has been approved

US President Donald Trump said that he cancelled strikes on Iran as a deal between the Iranian regime and the US government has been approved. Fighting broke out in the Strait of Hormuz earlier this week but the oil price did react to the renewed hostilities and has went down since then with Brent crude at around $88.65 as of the time of writing.

Speaking in a tele-rally with gubernatorial candidate for Georgia Burt Jones, President Trump said that Iran has agreed to give up its nuclear weapons.

Al-Jazeera is reporting that the Iranian government administration has submitted the proposed deal with the US government to the Supreme Leadership for approval.
