ฤฆamrun Spartans Football Club has officially announced that the club has parted ways with Head Coach Giacomo Modica by mutual consent.
The decision brings an unexpected end to a highly memorable tenure, with the club expressing deep regret over the departure.
The club announced the separation with immense pain and disappointment, noting Modicaโs indelible mark on the team’s history. Coach Modica will forever hold a special place in the clubโs folklore for his monumental achievement in European competition.
Under his leadership, the Spartans secured a historic qualification to the Group Phase of the UEFA Conference Leagueโmarking the first time any Maltese football club has ever reached the proper group stages of a major UEFA competition.
