There is still nothing of substance by Labour, not from the Prime Minister himself for that matter, as Labour released another statement today condemning the Opposition Leader for saying that the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia was planned in Castille.
The Labour Party here is defending Joseph Muscat’s administration.
Other than that, the Labour Party has told us to be prudent, or rather to shut up.
The lives of journalists in Malta have fallen to zero thanks to Yorgen Fenech’s verdict, and the Labour Party wants to insist on prudence.
The same government with Rosianne Cutajar as Minister wants prudence.
You can’t even make this stuff up.The press release by the Labour Party is being posted below in full.

If Alex Borg has evidence, he must hand it over to investigators immediately
This morning, Alex Borg once again insisted that he had a basis for pointing towards Castille during the protest he organised following Wednesday evening’s verdict, and for making the allegations he made. More time has passed, yet he has still failed to take any action. Since the Leader of the Opposition is standing by these claims, the Labour Party expects him to immediately provide investigators with any evidence or information in his possession, so that these claims can be properly investigated and the truth established. At such a serious moment, there can be no place for allegations made for political convenience. If Alex Borg genuinely has information that could assist an investigation, his responsibility is clear: he should hand it over to the competent authorities without delay. Anything less would raise serious questions about whether he is genuinely interested in establishing the truth and seeing justice served.
