A 34-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a truck in Gudja on Friday morning.
The accident occurred in Triq Ħal Far at around 9.30am and involved a Leyland Cruiser truck driven by a 63-year-old Żurrieq resident and a Yamaha motorcycle ridden by the victim, who was from Cospicua.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Magistrate Monica Borg Galea is leading an inquiry, while police investigations remain ongoing.
The fatality comes three days after 26-year-old Francesco Brincat died in a three-car collision in Santa Venera.
