Malta have climbed one place to 160th in the latest FIFA world ranking following an unbeaten run of three victories and a draw.
The national team gained 6.55 points from their recent international results, taking their total to 1006.80.
The sequence included a 2–1 UEFA Nations League victory away to Andorra and a 2–0 friendly win over Liechtenstein at the National Stadium.
Malta also drew 1–1 with Gibraltar before defeating Andorra 1–0 at Ta’ Qali, with Teddy Teuma scoring the decisive goal.
The improvement in the rankings follows a productive spell for the national team, who will look to maintain their momentum when they visit Gibraltar in November for their final UEFA Nations League, League D, Group 1 fixture.
