Judge Consuelo Scerri Herrera overturned a previous Magistrates’ Court decision rejecting disgraced ex-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s request to the Police to investigate Miroslava Milenovic for serving as a forensic accountant in the Vitals Magisterial Inquiry, which prompted the prosecution of Joseph Muscat.
Joseph Muscat is arguing that Miroslava Milenovic, who is Serbian and does not hold an accountant’s warrant, should not have offered her services to the Magisterial Inquiry because she does not have a warrant.
Joseph Muscat’s reasons are puerile, and it had to be his friend and ally Judge Consuelo Scerri Herrera to grant him his request in Court. It’s very clear that Miroslava Milenovic did not offer any accounting services but rather provided her analysis and expert advice, which she is allowed to do in a free society.
You don’t need an accounting warrant to be an analyst: this is total fiction and a waste of time. You can argue about qualifications and level of expertise as much as you like, but anyone is free to sell and buy services in our economy, and there is nothing illegal in this.
Joseph Muscat’s criminal clique in Labour is very fast to celebrate the announcement, including MEP Daniel Attard. The paladins of the rule of law, indeed.
Press reports also state that the Arts Council Chairman Luke Dalli was also part of Joseph Muscat’s legal defence team. Charlon Gouder appeared as usual.
