Here’s another case where the authorities deliberately protect corrupt government officials and politicians

Yorgen Fenech, Keith Schembri and various government officials are being prosecuted for giving Melvin Theuma, a phantom job with the government.

Frank Fabri and Justyne Caruana who had been referred for criminal prosecution for giving a phantom job to the minister’s boyfriend, Daniel Bogdanovich, have so far both avoided prosecution and have been rehabilitated with government jobs, instead. It’s like the Labour government keeps doubling down on corruption.
