Readers of this website may be wondering about the result of Prime Minister Robert Abela’s meeting with Rosianne Cutajar last week. Well, the meeting went on as expected with Robert telling Rosianne she has to resign her seat from parliament altogether or otherwise face calls from the Party to resign. Rosianne retorted with “Why me and not them?” saying that others in parliament also have embarrassing chats with Yorgen Fenech and aren’t being asked to resign.
She has a point, but she is still going to resign as the others stay because what matters most for the Labour Party is to keep up appearances.
