The public sector has reached such a level of brass-neck level incompetence that even the Animal Welfare Department can’t figure out how to properly provide welfare to animals under its own care. Malta is becoming truly a jheartless and sad place under Labour.
Apparently, Animal Welfare Director Joseph John Vella has issued an order to sanctuary volunteers not to walk the dogs under the department’s care. This is so sad it hurts.
Ever since this infamous case took place nothing was done by the government. Dog breeding in Malta should be curtailed and the breeding of certain types of dogs should be illegal. Instead of addressing the issue, the junior minister responsible for animals prefers to celebrate her initiation into politics with ridiculous press conferences.
Meanwhile, look at the helpless and innocent beings begging for some life. Their physical and mental health will deteriorate rapidly if these dogs are not given exercise. If you would like to adopt one or more of these dogs contact the Animal Welfare Department on 79800046 or on their Facebook page here.
