Enemalta CEO Jonathan Cardona is fired by Robert Abela

Since Robert Abela is too cowardly to do a cabinet reshuffle and consolidate his power over the cabinet, Robert Abela is implementing several underhanded moves to take control of Miriam Dalli’s Ministry for Energy. His first step was to appoint David Xuereb as a stakeholder mediator about the government’s oil procurement and distribution company called Petromal. Now, Robert Abela is taking over Enemalta by firing Jonathan Cardona and replacing him with his own appointee. The Shift News is reporting that Miriam Dalli has stood up for Jonathan Cardona despite his gross incompetence and lack of experience.

Jonathan Cardona is directly responsible for Malta’s blackouts that caused up to twenty people dead, but the Prime Minister doesn’t care about that, he only cares about personal power and optics. So Jonathan Cardona is being given another job at another important public entity called the Occupational Health and Safety Authority which is responsible for enforcing health and safety standards at the workplace.

this government acts and operates like a criminal organisation in every step of the way. Instead of appointing someone serious at the OHSA who would genuinely and passionately enforce safety standards in the workplace and prevent any more deaths like Jean-Paul Sofia, they are appointing as its head their corrupt and incompetent stooge so as to have control and discretion over the authority.

These people are bloody sick and out of their minds.

Basically, the government’s plan is to burn our taxes into inefficient and costly renewable energy projects while subsidising electricity bills. Obviously, this does not make sense, but in our political environmental, anyone who brings up nuances about this policy is accused of letting our grandmothers die from cold during the Winter. Ironically, grandmothers and grandfathers died with heat-stroke due to Miriam Dalli’s gross incompetence and the blame was shifted on Enemalta’s CEO. […]
