I’ve recently provided a playlist for my biography of Juan Bautista Azopardo, but I would suppose that the absolute soundtrack for the biography would be Jacques Brel’s famous song Dans le port d’Amsterdam. I think the song is very fitting because it is dramatic with the music imitating the strong tumult of moving waves and this can also be used as a metaphor for the strong and intense tumult during the revolutionary period Juan lived in.
Also, Mordeille acquired The Hoop (or The Hope) from Amsterdam and it was on that ship that his and Juan’s great story had begun.
