Robert Abela wants to keep the minimum wage below €1,000 up til 2027

I still haven’t understood what is so exciting about Robert Abela’s announced minimum wage increases. According to the average COLA increase, with these figures, the minimum wage is set to remain below €1,000 by 2027. As of next year, the minimum wage will be €854 per month (pre-taxes).

There was also no discussion on the minimum wage in the cabinet and Robert Abela is taking full political responsibility for this increase. He intends to take full ownership of this measure because he genuinely believes that this is a good political win for him and will revive his numbers at the polls.

Talk about delusional.

    Mark if what you are saying is all true I find it hard to understand in what way Partit Laburista is living and practicing socialism, as I’m sure you know this should be it’s very heart and soul.
