Carmelo Penza is not only getting preferential treatment by the government, but his daughter even works at the Office of the Prime Minister

Carmelo Penza has recently been featured in a story by The Shift over his irregular use of industrial-public land in ?al Far for storage purposes, and his state-backed proposal to build a tarmac plant in a disused quarry in Mqabba. The Shift has correctly mentioned that Carmelo Penza is a long-time Labour Party supporter and donor having contributed to the construction of both the Labour Party headquarters in ?amrun and its ONE propaganda complex in Marsa.

His daughters, Francesca Penza and Sandra Axiaq are responsible for the company that is proposing to build a tarmac plant in Mqabba, but another one of his daughters, Sharon Penza, works as a Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, Glenn Micallef. The Penzas have always been strong Labour Party supporters and they make many undeclared donations to the Labou Party.
