I can’t wait for that sick and demented imbecile of Simon Mercieca to read this post and fume in anger as he frantically types on his keyboard his sexual obsessions and his pro-mafia propaganda.
Indeed, you’d have to be a true imbecile as a conservative intellectual to put your political support behind a man such as Adrian Delia who pretends to be Catholic but in private consumes drugs and is a non-believing agnostic. In a way, this is also similar to Bernard Grech who prostates a pro-life position in public but in private admits that he would still prefer for his children to have abortions if they find themselves in “extreme situations”. Not to mention the Nationalist MPs whose children have had abortions, but I am not disclosing any names because that would be inappropriate. Yet, the pro-lifers march on with many of them believing their Nationalist MPs have their back.
Unfortunately for the pro-lifers, the old conservative guard in PN is no longer as significant as it used to be – most of them perished in 2013 when they were so Catholic in principle that they preferred to lose many votes and drag down the party with them instead of adjusting themselves with the times. Currently, the Nationalist Party is in a different situation where it is trying not to pander to its conservative constituency, yet at the same time, failing to win progressives.
You are all wasting your time. The tide will reverse just as quickly as it did with everything else.
