The Labour government intends to rush its assets freeze reform just before Joseph Muscat is indicted to court

The Labour government is aware that the conclusion of the magisterial inquiry into Joseph Muscat’s public hospitals’ fraudulent and corrupt deals is imminent. Once Joseph Muscat is indicted and accused of money laundering in court, as the law stands, the state will have the right to freeze all his assets.

The Labour government intends to rush through a reform that restricts the authorities’ powers to freeze assets of money laundering suspects just before Joseph Muscat is indicted in court. Justice Minister Jonathan Attard intends to rush the law to parliament by the 18th of this month.

This is a developing story.

    As much as I hate to say this however JM and his cronies are never going to face justice and get what they truly deserve. The Nazzs have never come out stating that once elected they will do everything in their power to bring JM and his merry band of crooks to justice. There is a tacit agreement between both parties to cover each other’s arses when in power. And what if it eventually surfaces that both political parties have served as mediums for money laundering? Obviously the Nazzs are not going to oppose this bill for the simple reason that they are pawns in the hands of the local business and criminal cabal same as RA and Labour. Bear in mind that Keith Schembri is undergoing charges for money laundering. For the majority of simpletons this bill will pass under their radar as most of them hardly understand what money laundering is and that in Malta, Politics, Crime, corruption and money laundering are interwoven.
