The IDF started its invasion of Gaza by pronouncing to the whole world that its actions should be measured by international standards. That’s very odd to say when you apply Arabic standards of human rights in the way you treat journalists you don’t like, and you don’t even try to hide it.
Yesterday, the IDF beat up a Palestinian photographer working for the Turkish state Anadolu Agency. Ironically, he is calledย Mustafa Haruf and his surname means “lamb” in Arabic.
There is ample evidence that shows that the IDF has, in some cases, deliberately targeted and murdered journalists it does not like.
