Palestinian journalists Wael Al Dahdouh and Samer Abu Daqqa were targeted by the IDF

Wael Al Dahdouh, Al-Jazeera’s Gaza Bureau Chief was targeted by the IDF while on duty in Gaza with his cameraperson Samer Abu Daqqa. Samer Abu Daqqa did not survive the attack but Wael al Dahdouh is still reporting from Gaza. His family was previously murdered in an IDF bombing while Dahdough was reporting. The journalists were in the direct line of sight of the IDF and were specifically targeted in their deliberate attempted murder. Since then Wael Al Dahdouh has become a popular symbol of resilience for journalists in the Arab world.

The IDF is specifically targeting and deliberately murdering journalists it does not like, committing blatant war crimes in a willing and total disregard for the law.
