Israel keeps bombing Gaza on Christmas Day as Hamas refuses Egypt-brokered truce

According to the Gazan Ministry of Health, more than 200 people died on Christmas Day as the IDF kept up its bombing of Gaza, Fighting is still ongoing in Jabalaia (north of Gaza) and Khan Younis (South of Gaza).

Hamas has also refused an Egyptian-brokered truce and is also refusing calls from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to give up power in Gaza for a technocratic Palestinian government. Negotiating in Egypt on behalf of Hamas is Ismail Haniyeh himself.
