China has started the year by doing what it has increasingly been doing during the past few years, which is pushing its military aircraft and vessels into Taiwan’s space. This kind of tactic is extremely provocatory since if pushed further enough, Taiwan would be accused by China of starting a war against it if retaliates against this provocation.ย China has been deploying grey zone tactics against Taiwan regularly and it intends to annex it.
