How miserable and sad you’d have to be to spend the best years of your life defending a corrupt and ultra-conservative government that persecuted artists and opposed the introduction of divorce legislation, only to mature into adult life as a supporter of a criminal government and a Mafia State. This is the story of Frank Psaila. Frank Psaila also solicited Yorgen Fenech in 2019.
You can see him in this ONE clip where he hands out a statement by the Nationalist Party in exchange for having PN MPs and Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi give comments to the press: a hallmark event of the arrogance of the government and PN of those days.
Also, this drama was brought to us thanks to Franco Debono who entertained us throughout the conservative administration with smash hits such as “Mela, jien il-pappagall tieg?ek?” and “Fejnhu Simon Busuttil?”
