Yesterday, Labour MEP Josianne Cutajar announced that she will not be contesting the European Parliament elections this year. She didn’t give any reasons for doing so, so here is the story behind it.
Josianne Cutajar met the Prime Minister around two months ago and she discussed with him her political future with an open mind, also while considering running for the European Parliament elections once again. She had concerns that the Labour Party and heavyweights were favouring several candidates such as Daniel Attard and Steve Ellul, and Josianne Cutajar left the meeting even more frustrated and confused than when she entered.
Robert Abela is so incompetent he is unable to make alliances with the most loyal of Party servants.
