Not guilty because there is no criminal libel

Today, the Courts have concluded that I am not guilty of threatening or insulting Rosianne Cutajar because criminal libel has been deleted from the code of laws. This is very good news for the state of free speech in Malta and confirms the legal fact that you can’t criminally convict people for being insulted or defamed with published writings. The only way you can seek legal redress for defamation and insults is the civil route of civil libel.

Rosianne Cutajar still has an ongoing civil libel case against me, however, she has been having cold feet over testifying and taking the witness stand and has been delaying this with all possible means at her disposal. I look forward to her testimony so that this case can also be concluded.
