LovinMalta has taken a deep dive into Saviour Balzan’s false claims that Jason Azzopardi maliciously leaked a Europol report on the murder case of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Saviour Balzan has been making this false claim for some time now, along with the fake claim that Jason Azzopardi leaked Yorgen Fenech’s chats.
LovinMalta came to the inevitable conclusion that this could not have been possible because the only people who had seen this report apart from Europol and the court expert Martin Bajada, are Simon Mercieca and Saviour Balzan both of whom are Yorgen Fenech’s allies who have and may still be working for him. Saviour Balzan has been meeting with Yorgen Fenech’s defense team as of last year, and Simon Mercieca has never shied away from the fact that he is pushing Yorgen Fenech’s agenda.
It’s Saviour Balzan’s own hubris that is untangling his own web of lies. He lied to the nation when he told us he was duped by Joseph Muscat and Keith Schembri and that he had changed. He is still the same criminal operator he has been for a significant number of years: from working for John Dalli, the most corrupt politician of his time, to working for Joseph Muscat and Yorgen Fenech and now, maturing well into his career as the top government propagandist for the criminals who run it.
