A board member of the Maltese Commission for UNESCO pens a band march titled “Invictus” to celebrate Joseph Muscat

A band music conductor, ex-Festivals Malta board member, and current board member of the Maltese Commission for UNESCO, David Agius has penned a band celebrating Joseph Muscat called “Invictus”. Joseph Muscat once got a tattoo with “Invictus” inscribed on his arm to celebrate winning the 2017 general election. So, now we are not only exonerating corrupt criminals in politics, we are also celebrating them.

David Agius serves as a conductor to two different band clubs which areย  G?aqda Banda ?ejtun and So?jeta’ Santa Marija u Banda Re Gorg V, (Mqabba) and this is normal for band conductors given that there aren’t many of them, and same foes with band musicians. His main profession and job, however, despite his government positions related to culture, is not in music or culture, but rather as an insurance broker with Antes Insurance Brokers Limited.

David Agius should think of writing a band march to Robert Abela if he’d like to get another government appointment more worthy than Festivals Malta board member.
