The Labour Party faction of the Nationalist Party

If you had any doubt on whether the Nationalist Party has a conservative faction that is becoming ever more similar to the Labour Party in character and essence, the Labour government’s main consultant for construction and planning, Robert Musumeci Rasputin has declared his support for Alex Borg, and Franco Debono.

How about this for crossovers? Alex Borg is supported by previous PN Gozo Minister, Giovanna Debono, and Alex Borg has basically, taken over his constituency. Alex Borg has a close connection with Gozitan developers who are in business with Joseph Portelli, and this may be no coincidence given that Giovanna Debono was also close to Joseph Portelli and even bankrolled him at one point in time.

If Alex Borg is guilty by association and his infantile attacks in response to my articles about him (instead of picking up on the arguments made), then these individuals would represent the populist and corrupt streak of PN. In practice, these individuals would say and do anything that is convenient and profitable to them. Had corruption been the most popular issue, you would see Franco Debono joining NGO Repubblika.

Both Robert Musumeci and Franco Debono whom we have come to know very well over the years are opportunistic and unprincipled narcissists. Robert Musumeci is even responsible for Malta’s planning mess and Jungle Rules from which he profited considerably over the years with a blatant conflict of interest while being the consultant for the government on planning. Ultimately, Robert Musumeci was a PN politician and PN activist who switched to Labour for his interests, he is an active Labour Party supporter while greasing it with the government. He’s also Joseph Muscat’s friend and a loyal supporter.

To put things into perspective, Robert Musumeci also endorsed Rosianne Cutajar during the last general election. You’d have to be insane as a Nationalist to take the advice of Robert Musumeci, or worse simply an unprincipled politician hell-bent on tolerating corruption and Labour’s rent-seeking regime.

By the way, does anyone remember about Robert Musumeci jockeying for Lawrence Gonzi? Send pictures.
