Tensions are ever-rising at Labour’s HQ in ?amrun (CNL). Yesterday, a member of the Labour Party executive committee was expelled during the meeting as the committee members were to approve the list of candidates for the local council elections, and the said executive member raised the issue that a nominated candidate is currently being investigated by the police over drug trafficking. The candidate in question is currently living with one of Robert Abela’s staff (OPM).
Ramona Attard (Labour Party President) expelled the executive member as Robert Abela reacted to the allegations with an aggressive defense of the candidate. Robert Abela even followed the executive member out of the room and bullied him into silence as he gave him verbal trashing.
Slowly and gradually, Robert Abela’s criminal contacts and wrongdoing are emerging to the surface and he is deluding himself he will get away with it forever.
