Major-General and Iraqi Military Spokesperson Yahya Rasoul has condemned the US attack that liquidated the Kataib Hezbollah senior leader responsible for the attacks on a US base in Jordan that killed 3 US troops. The Major-General had also previously condemned the US attacks on Al-Qaim, saying these attacks breached Iraq’s sovereignty.
Iraq’s Prime Minister Muhammed al-Sudani, who is also an Iranian ally, is currently leading discussions with the US forces to leave Iraq.
