The price of natural gas reaches the depths of the Summer Corona lows

The price of natural gas has fallen below the $1.6 mark in many ports and exchanges. This is the same price level gas was during Summer Corona lows and previously seen during early 1999. US production levels have hit all high times in 2023 turning the US into the biggest exporter of natural gas. The oil price is slightly below pre-Russian invasion levels but it is still highly elevated.

Meanwhile, the Ministry for Energy, Miriam Dalli is still waiting for the gas price to go higher since her interview to LovinMalta in January 2023.
