Since Simon Cusens, one of Malta’s Freemason bosses, was outed by this website, many strange things have happened in the house of Freemasons. Simon Cusens presides over one of Malta’s biggest Freemasonry organizations which in the past expelled several PEPs and individuals related to criminal activity to improve its reputation. Carol Peralta, is a member of another Freemason group.
Now, Simon Cusens himself is facing calls for resignation for being remotely involved in the Vitals scandal. Basically, one of his business partners, Ivan Vassllo, who had bought the full ownership of Simon Cusens medical equipment company, was interrogated by the police over his involvement in the Vitals scandal as part of the ongoing Magisterial Inquiry on the government’s fraudulent deal with Vitals. After having bought the company from Simon Cusens, Ivano Vassllo went on to sell the company to Vitals.
Simon Cusens has always denied his involvement in the Vitals scandal and reiterates that he is not responsible for Ivan Vassallo’s actions. However, those advocating for his resignation as president of the group argue that given their staunch no-tolerance policy towards corrupt deals with politicians, Simon Cusens would serve the organisation best by stepping down to ensure there is absolutely no blemish on the organisation, even if it’s merely by association.
