The debut Labour MEP candidate and government employee Marija Sara Vella Gafa, has shared one of her gems of wisdom by telling us, “Irrespective whether you are rich or poor, you deserve aid, not just to exist but to live”. She also referred to people who wanted to buy a house they could barely afford. Weird. Why the reference? I know someone like that and he is called Angelo Gafa.
The Labour Part’s European Parliament election campaign is looking ever more like a theatre of infantile and tear-jerking scripts mixed with some pro-Russian disinformation. I don’t ever remember a European Parliament election campaign conducted with such a lack of political thought, ideals, and motivation. Probably, this will be one of the dumbest election campaigns in our recent history.
Young Labour candidates can’t seem to get it right either, and probably it’s because they are not really in it for the politics. In their verbose, vacuous scripted discourses and unintelligible messages, I can hardly find any political values in what they say. Their speeches sound like parodies in a comedy show, but the candidates, probably believe they are geniuses. There’s a lot of Dunning-Kruger going on here, which by now, has turned into outright abuse through disinformation. Ultimately, these candidates demonstrate that they don’t even read, and can’t express themselves clearly, let alone formulate concrete political concepts. Yet, they want to be Members of the European Parliament.
Move over Roberta Metsola. The genius peace brigade is coming.
