In conjunction with the Opposition Leaders’ discourse of last Sunday, Mark Anthony Sammut’s speech in parliament sums it up very well. Mark Anthony Sammut hammers on the point that the same Minister for Justice who lied about the public inquiry and its political and legal importance, is now entrusted with seeing the implementation of its recommendations. Sammut also quotes the Prime Minister in his statements against the public inquiry in a stark reminder of why the Labour government is not genuinely interested in implementing meaningful reform.
