Former Nationalist Party Home Affairs spokesperson, Joe Giglio, is keeping up his tradition of lashing out at whistleblowers. Most recently, he questioned the court about the Transport Malta driving licenses scandal, wondering why the whistleblower wasn’t prosecuted.
Despite having been removed from his role, he is still an MP. As a politician, Joe Giglio will mostly be remembered for making a speech in parliament against the whistleblower of Pilatus Bank, Maria Efimova. Today, he is a stark reminder that criminal lawyers in politics will always, especially in politics, primarily serve the interests of their clients and themselves.
