How Labour propagandists view the Jean-Paul Sofia saga: just another tragedy

Yesterday, a ONE propagandist asked Opposition Leader Bernard Grech about an incident from over fifteen years ago involving a contractor who killed a woman in her home when her house collapsed during the construction of a building next to hers. Somehow, the inference supposedly implies that, just like the Labour government, even the Nationalist government lacked enforcement of health and safety construction standards.

They won’t accept or come to terms with the fact that Jean-Paul Sofia was killed on a public site developed by Labour Party contractors given to them by corrupt means. The corrupt and criminal interests of Labour Party associates come first before the national interest and their activists and propagandists think accordingly. Not to mention the fact that the rate of workplace accidents in the construction industry increased under a Labour government.

It’s socialism, but only for Labour Party criminals – the plebs get subsistence cheques and Dear Leader’s blessings.

  1. So the joker went back past the Miriam Pace tragedy, past the many recent cases, and travelled back 20 years to find some whatabout/where were you then excuse.

  2. Very typical from the Labour party. Invoking past tragedies to justify the fact that the they gave the permit to criminals. During a Labour party activity last Sunday Robert Abela invoked the Um El Faroud tragedy to make a point. His comments have since been rebuffed by the daughter of one of the victims of the tragedy. https://netnews.com.mt/2024/03/05/dizgustanti-bint-vittma-tal-um-el-faroud-tikkritika-d-diskors-ta-robert-abela/
