Alex Agius Saliba, like other unprincipled Labour MEPs has no shame in using Joseph Muscat to help him out for his MEP election campaign. In fact, it can also be said that Alex Agius Saliba was in favor of reintegrating Joseph Muscat into the Labour Party even before Robert Abela announced it, and I am sure there are statements to this effect that he has made on ONE radio and TV.
Alex has been propped up by Joseph Muscat ever since I can remember, and even today, Alex is still seeking Joseph Muscat’s help for his reflection. Note that those who are having their campaigns endorsed by Joseph Muscat are already indirectly and unwittingly forming his new loyalist faction inside the Party, not to mention those Labour MPs who are supporting his reintegration with Party. If you ask all of them who would they prefer between Robert Abela and Joseph Muscat, the answer would be the latter.
Sounds insane even writing about it, considering the power and extent that this one single person still has over the Labour Party, but here we are.
