They’re even bragging about making the country worse

Some of you may remember how Paola’s main square was reformed and its roads paved with cobblestones to decrease the pace of the traffic. The area is full of retail outlets and bars, apart from having a health centre just at the end of it, so as one can imagine it is frequented by a lot of people. The cobblestone pavement was removed after it was found out that the street had to be dug again, and now they have resurfaced it again with tarmac.

The newly appointed Minister of Transport, Chris Bonett is bragging about the newly laid out tarmac in a publicly-funded video. I can’t seem to be able to put it any other way. They are probably even genuinely proud of themselves when they do this kind of propaganda, as if laying out tarmac is an achievement by the Minster for Transport which is worth filming and producing a video about. I always assumed idiocracy would be a thing, but I never thought it would come this fast.

The idea of the cobblestone pavement was also good and improved the aesthetics of the square apart from making the square less dangerous for pedestrians. Apparently, they aren’t able to do it this way, and they are even bragging about it.

  1. Bonnett ticks all the boxes of useful idiot – does what he?s told.

I?m getting tired of seeing pictures of pigs all over the media. With an Orwellian twist in the curly tail, they all look the same now.
