The Labour Party has now adopted a new tactic for taking over and influencing private and independent institutions. It is now using its one of its main corrupt fixers, Marisa Ciappara to apply for tenders and take on the work of NGOs and private and charitable institutions. What’s also interesting is that Marisa Ciappara is now conducting her private business from the offices where she works, the state entity ARMS.
Marisa Ciappara, serving as both the Labour Party treasurer and the Chief Financial Officer of ARMS, the state’s water and electricity billing company, creates a conflict of interest. The Labour Party owes ARMS millions of Euros in unpaid bills, yet easily avoids consequences by essentially making its creditor and provider part of its own structure.
Like Joe Vella Bonnici, Marisa Ciappara also serves as a front to the Labour Party in various companies.
