Putin takes a cue from Stalin and attacks one of his critics in Europe with a sledgehammer

In what is another Russian state-sanctioned attempted murder in Europe, Putin has attacked Alexei Navalny’s team member, chief of staff, and Russian critic, Leonid Volkov. An unidentified attacker shot tear gas at him outside his home and then proceeded to hit him with a sledgehammer. Someone seems to have wanted to extend the Stalinist tradition of killing Opposition members with a sledgehammer, given that Leon Trotsky was also killed with a sledgehammer in his skull.

Meanwhile, Russia has also launched a ballistic missile at an apartment block in the childhood hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Three people were killed in the attack at Kryvyi Rih and up to 44 were injured
