How much does a fancy cake cost the state?

Yesterday, Robert Abela wanted to send a message to his colleagues and the general public that he is still friends with Chris Fearne despite having purged him from his role in the government and soon from the Labour Party with a kicking upstairs to Brussels. This ridiculous and choreographed scene is an effort by Robert Abela to make a public show of unity while he is tearing the Labour Party apart. With this act, Robert Abela is also attempting to project himself as a caring and thoughtful leader to his henchmen and subordinates, something which he fails to do on a daily basis given his sociopathic, and infantile self-entitled nature.

In private, he will smear and trash talk Chris Fearne, but in public feels the need to be seen as a person who is actually taking care of the Labour Party. These kind of propaganda events wouldn’t have been necessary if the Labour Party worked and functioned as a normal party instead of as a criminal organisation.

It’s like a series from The Sopranos but with the Maltese and village Labour idiots as the main cast: equally evil, but even less funnier.
