Malta’s elections for the European Parliament is a choice between decency and outright criminality

The Labour Party has two fundamental messages that it is campaigning with for the European Parliament elections. Firstly, it is campaigning on its raison d’être and inherent character, that of criminal impunity. Secondly, it is pushing the Russian talking point about Europe sending money to Ukraine instead of creating jobs at home, a point that has already been reiterated ad nauseam by pro-Russian parties and politicians in Europe and the US.

It’s also no coincidence that in these circumstances the Labour Party has come out with some of the worst MEP candidates in its history. No wonder Cyrus Engerer still seems to be undecided on whether he will be contesting again. He’s currently on a completely different planet as he advocates for women’s bodily autonomy, free speech, metros and other more European-like ideas.

If I had his hear I would definitely advise him to stay out of the ongoing trainwreck.
