Therefore, in the nine years that Roderick Galdes was a government minister, he declared that he accumulated in total 3 properties, being a land in Qormi, a house in Siġġiewi and a house in Sicily. His bank deposits increased by at around €50,000 and his debt increased by around €73,000.
However, he FIAU’s report lists potentially more properties and assets than these that are declared apart from two specific companies one in Malta and another in Italy that may be connected to Roderick Galdes but are listed under different owners. Eyewitnesses also say that Roderick Galdes frequents another property in Sicily apart from the property which he declared.
