As a full-time government propagandist, Quinton Scerri is following on Saviour Balzan’s footsteps by creating pseudo-businesses that are fully dependent on government funding. Apart from receiving public funding for his commercial events, Quinton Scerri is also the owner of a pro-Labour media website called stradarjali.com. The company that runs it is called Beyond Strategic Consultants.
It’s baffling that the government is funding commercial events that have no cultural value whatsoever and could easily be replaced by actual business participants of the catering and the entertainment industry. This is just one of the ways that the government is distorting the free market in what are very small industries and markets.
