It?s not the first time Jonny Pace flopped with his events. The famous NYE party in Bahrija which was supposed to be open bar but ended up with an empty bar, comes in mind. The wine fest in Cottonera with the blessing of the then Major Alison Zerafa Civella was also a flop. Il-Jonny boasts with his friends that his business partner is well connected mal-lejber and irrespective if his events are a flop or not, he still makes a good buck from the generous sponsorship mill- Ministeri. Is it just me that suspects that these events are just a cover for kickbacks passing between the ministries and NRGY limited?

Rest assured that you are not the only rational person to seriously suspect that these events are just a cover for kickbacks passing between the ministries and NRGY limited! What did NRGT Limited pay to use government land for their own benefit and how come Government is funding private initiatives like these instead of organising activities through public authorities/entities? Who were the food sellers which were selling at the event, what did they pay to sell, put tables, chairs and what have you, and to whom, when their activity was on public property. These are all pertinent questions which need to be thoroughly investigated and answered.

Just take a look at where he goes on holiday to see just how much of a good buck he is making. Not to mention the hideous amounts that they probably receive from the MTA, seeing as how the ever-so-pompous Chairman addresses their every press conference.
